West Bank quarterly public safety meeting, Wednesday, May 14, 7 p.m.

Ward 2 City Councilmember Cam Gordon and representatives from the Minneapolis Police Department’s (MPD) First Precinct will meet with Cedar-Riverside community members on Wednesday, May 14, 7 p.m., for the quarterly public safety meeting.
The agenda, as emailed by First Precinct Crime Prevention Specialist Luther Krueger, includes MPD presentations on crime trends and Somali gangs, addresses from First Precinct Inspector Janee Harteau, Gordon, a city attorney, Krueger and fellow Crime Prevention Specialist Ahmed Hassan, as well as a question and answer session at the end.
The April 11 killing of Abdullahi Abdi is also likely to be a topic of conversation.
