Have fun and help Seward kids blast off for Space Camp

This Sunday night, you can have fun, hear good music and help some great kids from Seward Montessori and other Minneapolis schools raise money for their April trip to Space Camp. The event is the Reach for the Stars Astronaut’s Dusty Ball and it’s taking place this Sunday, Feb. 17, from 6 to 10 pm at Dusty’s Bar 1319 NE Marshall St. The suggested donation is $5.

Music will be provided by the band Rockthrow, which combines elements of rock, folk and country, and features lyrics that are sometimes dark, sometimes humorous, sometimes political, sometimes twisted.

And coming up on Sunday, March 2, you’ll have another chance to help the Space Camp kids with their fundraising when the Parkway Theater features a 2 pm screening of “Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home.” Tickets are $5. Come enjoy the show!
