Cedar-Riverside girl grazed by bullet

Police seek suspect

A 6-year-old girl grazed in the leg by a bullet on Wednesday, Feb. 13 is back home with her family at Riverside Plaza, reports the StarTribune. The girl and others waiting for a morning school bus luckily escaped greater harm when a gun apparently slipped from a man’s waistband and went off.

A surveillance camera “got a good look” at the man, according to the story. Police were still looking for the man by Wednesday night. A call placed by The Bridge to the Minneapolis Police Department on Wednesday had not been returned by mid-morning on Thursday.
