City and county host lectures during Black History Month — Wednesdays
The month of February is Black History Month, which the Minneapolis City Council and Hennepin County Commissioners celebrate every year with a series of lectures. This year’s series is titled “Economics in the Black Community,” and feature several Bridge-area speakers. The events, all on Wednesdays, are as follows:

The events are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will available. The lectures are held in handicap accessible facilities and sign language interpretation is available upon request.
