Ramy Selim, owner of “green store” Sunny Day Earth Solutions, will host a free workshop on how to “reduce your footprint” on the environment this Saturday, Jan. 26. The two-hour workshop starts at 3 p.m. and is the first of a series of green living workshops at the store, located in the Como neighborhood at 1000 26th Ave. SE.

Other upcoming workshop topics include how to make your own “warm windows” (Feb. 2); how to run your vehicle on waste vegetable oil (Feb. 16); and “Is solar for me?” (March 1).
