Congressman Ellison to speak at Augsburg College — Jan. 14
On Jan. 14, U.S. Congressman Keith Ellison — who represents Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District — will deliver a talk at Augsburg College about his recent international trip with several Augsburg students and faculty.
Ellison and the Augsburg group recently returned from Norway, where they learned about peace negotiation, health care issues and environmental policy. According to a press release, Augsburg’s partnerships in Norway “provide[d] a natural connection to learn more about Norway’s world leadership.”
Ellison will be speaking at the Hoversten Chapel in Foss Center, located at Riverside Avenue and 22nd Street, on the Augsburg campus. The event, beginning at 4 p.m., is free and open to the public.
