Enjoy a hot date and a free night of theater at the Bedlam Theatre, starting Nov. 30
The West Bank’s Bedlam Theatre is opening a new production, Lost Love, on Friday, Nov. 30, and you can set your own ticket price—or even see the show for free. The play, by Peter Papadopoulos, is described as the first in a trilogy of “love-gone-wrong-at-the-end-of-the-world” adventures by the playwright.
If you’d like to see the show for free anytime during the show’s run, which goes through Dec. 16, take advantage of Bedlam’s “Date Night” offer. The Bedlam folks say they need two couples, or four people, for each performance. You can choose from the “kitchen date” or the “box office/ushering date.” Each performance of “Lost Love” begins with an optional pre-show dinner, and the Bedlam staff needs some extra help during part of each evening. In return, you’ll get to feel good about lending a hand, share a glass of wine and enjoy free reserved seats for the show.
Kitchen date shifts are from 5 to 7:45 pm, and box office/ushering shifts are from 6 to 7:45 pm. To sign up for a date shift or for more information, call 320-333-6357 or e-mail Teische Thiessen at teische@bedlamtheatre.org.
Bedlam is also offering its usual “pay what you think it’s worth” performance on Friday, Nov. 30 and Monday, Dec. 3. (Those familiar with Bedlam’s work will tell you that “pay what you think it’s worth” doesn’t usually mean the show is free.)
