West Bank Central Corridor location update meeting - Tuesday, Nov. 20
The local Somali community has organized a meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 20 for the Central Corridor LRT Project Office to give an update on the location of the West Bank LRT station.
Full details were not available, but the new site is based on consultation with many Cedar-Riverside stakeholders about how the station would be accessed from the neighborhood and university.
The meeting will be from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Brian Coyle Community Center, 420 15th Ave. S. A Somali translator will be on hand. Metropolitan Council Chair Peter Bell, Hennepin County Commissioner Peter McLaughlin and Ward 2 Council Member Cam Gordon are expected to attend.
