Common Ground Meditation Benefit — Saturday, Oct. 20
Common Ground Meditation Center will host a benefit and silent auction at the Ivy Arts Building, 2637 27th Ave, S., on Saturday, Oct. 20, 7–10 p.m. Proceeds will help complete the organization’s renovation of its future home, the former Diner building at 2545 27th Ave. S.
Donations are welcomed and will be matched by a private donor, according to a release from the center. The long list of silent auction items include a four-night stay at a Lutsen cabin, a Pentax camera, dinners, entertainment, gift certificates, artwork and more.
The evening will feature light food, desserts, beverages and music, including the The Mu Community Taiko Group to open the event, followed by Ellis and Mary and JG Everest.
