Parade of Community Gardens is this Saturday

Tour of public gardens begins at 10 a.m.

Visit unique gardens created through community collaboration. Some stops will offer fresh vegetables, ice cream, art, music, and even a look at chickens, geese, and ducks. For a map and descriptions to all 49 gardens in the parade, visit the GardenWorks website.

Como Corner Community Garden, 2201 Como Ave. SE

Dowling Community Garden, 39th St. & 46th Ave. S.

Gateway Community Garden, East Hennepin Ave. & 12th Ave. SE

Minnehaha Ave. Community Garden, 3128 Minnehaha Ave. S.

Nicollet Island Cooperative Henhouse, 111A West Island Ave.

Seward Youth Peace Garden, 2309 28th Ave. S.

Fifth Street Community Garden, West end of 5th St. between Cedar Ave. & 19th Ave. S.
