Fridays at Brian Coyle Center join list of area farmers' markets; Thursday Mill City markets canceled
Every Friday, now through October, three local farmers will sell fresh produce from 2–5 p.m. at the Brian Coyle Center, 420 15th Ave. S.
The farmers at the Coyle Center are the same people who work the larger farmers market downtown Minneapolis.
Almost any vegetable you can think of– that’s raised in Minnesota– will be available at the Coyle Center, the center’s director, Rhonda Eastlund-David said.
This is the second year that a farmers market has been hosted at the Coyle Center.

In related news, Thursday markets at the Mill City Farmers’ Market in Downtown East, near the Guthrie Theater, have been canceled for the rest of the year, due to drought conditions and their effects on local farmers. Saturday markets continue into October at both Mill City and Midtown farmers’ markets.
