The Bridge welcomes two editorial interns
We at The Bridge are happy to announce the arrival of two editorial interns this summer. Both are journalism students who live and attend school in our coverage area, and both have made an immediate impact in the office and the newspaper.
Meagen Swartzer is a junior at Augsburg College majoring in English with an emphasis on media writing. She transferred to Augsburg in 2006 from Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, Minn., where she was arts and entertainment editor for the Ridgewater Review. She lives on campus in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood.
Liz Riggs will graduate this fall from the University of Minnesota’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is also interning at the Sun-Post newspapers, and she recently spent a month in London studying media law. She lives in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood.
