See completed Neighborhood Policing Plans online
The city has released the neighborhood policing plans (NPP) developed by neighborhoods and the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) precincts that serve them. The community-specific plans include a map, local crime statistics, police contact information and area crime concerns.
Specific policing strategies are laid out in each report, as well as a list of goals, which will help measure the yearly success of patrolling in each community. The plans will be updated annually. You may link to the NPPs on the MPD website, www.ci.mpls.mn.us/police.
The Bridge has also added links to the NPPs from the specific neighborhood pages on our website, www.readthebridge.info.
